Private Sale – You won’t be going it alone!
When the market is really hot or your numbers are tight it might be tempting to go it alone and try to sell your home without engaging the services of a real estate agent. There are a number of different options open to sellers these days with real estate firms offering fixed price low-fee commissions, companies dedicated to assisting you with the private sale setup, through to truly going it alone with a sign and internet listing of your own!
If you choose to try and sell your home with or without the assistance of the agent we are always available to offer you advice. Even in situations where an experienced agent is involved, it is important to feel that you can call us and check the fine print before signing an offer or even the listing authority.
If you do not have an agent involved we can go one step further and provide you with all the tools you need to prepare an Agreement for Sale and Purchase. We can partially prepare the Agreement for you with all the “legal” details completed. We will provide you with instructions on how to finalise the Agreement with a Purchaser and provide you with some sample clauses to include in the Agreement if you need to protect your position.
