Trusts and Estates

Trust Formation & Administration - Estate Administration
Forming a Trust is something you should consider when you are structuring the ownership of your assets. A Trust can be a useful way to protect your assets in certain circumstances.

We can assist Executors with the distribution of an Estate, being mindful of the grief and emotional strain that may be suffered by the people involved at such a difficult time.

Trust Formation & Administration

Do you own a business and want to protect your personal assets? Have children from a prior relationship? Want to treat your family member’s unequally in your Will? Or maybe you wish to set up a special fund for a particular purpose, such as education?

Forming a Trust may be one of the ways to achieve each of these goals. Our team will spend the time needed to discuss each of these scenarios to determine whether a Trust is right for you.

If you decide to form a Trust, Beach Law will prepare all of the necessary documents to complete your estate planning and asset protection structure under that Trust. We can also manage your gifting programme.

Estate Administration

When a loved one passes we can appreciate the emotional strain you will be suffering. Our team takes a compassionate approach to Estate Administration.

We strive to support the Executors or Administrators of an Estate to ensure they move through the distribution process as smoothly as possible. We will assist the Executors to determine the assets of the Estate; to make the appropriate application to the High Court to allow distribution of the Estate in due course and we will guide the Executors and Beneficiaries through the distribution process.

An Estate can take anywhere between 6-18 months to finalise and sometimes it can take even longer depending on the circumstances of the Estate, the assets and the beneficiaries.
